Sven is an award winning* freelance writer living in Santa Cruz, California. His columns and features have appeared locally in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Santa Cruz Sentinel, the Student Guide, Arts and Ideas magazine, and the news and entertainment weekly Good Times, where he was a regular columnist and contributor for six years. Some of his work has been syndicated to exotic locales such as Mill Valley, Tampa, and even South Africa, where his sensitive and thoughful essay about testicles appeared in Cosmopolitan.
He is currently working on a fourth draft of the first two chapters of a novel about a flea circus. It's not looking good.
Sven is also a regular contributor and performer on the monthly Planet Cruz Comedy Hour, a monthly variety show taped for broadcast on KUSP.
